Treasurer of State: Foreclosure Assistance Resources by County. 211 for the State of Ohio. Ohio Supreme Court Foreclosure Mediation Program. Because we recognize that people facing foreclosure are often desperate as well as discouraged, we want to caution against turning to "rescue" firms that promise to stop foreclosures for a fee. They can't. What they can and will do is bilk you out of money you may need to save your home. The person on the other end of the phone is there to help. Please give them the opportunity to do so.

Foreclosure listings and information for buyers and investors looking for bank owned homes and hud homes in the greater Cleveland OH area and the surrounding suburbs. To begin a court foreclosuer in Ohio, OH, the appropriate court documents are filed in a local court. The borrower is then given notice of the court filing, usually by certified mail, regular mail, or personal service. If a borrower cannot be located, the lender may publish the notice of the court filing. After the notice has been properly delivered or published, the borrower has 28 days to respond or the court can find them in default. After the court makes its decision, the county clerk issues an order of sale to the sheriff
